If your ring does not appear in the app during pairing, please check these common scenarios:
Is the Ring Activated?
If you haven't docked the ring and connected it to power yet, it will remain in "Sleep Mode." The ring does not broadcast a Bluetooth signal until it has been activated via the charging case at least once.
Is the Battery Depleted?
If the ring was previously activated but the battery has dropped to a critical level, the device will enter "Shutdown Mode." In this state, it stops all Bluetooth broadcasting to protect the internal battery health.
- Solution: Place the ring in the charging case to wake it up and ensure it has enough power to establish a connection.
Is it connected to Another Device?
The Vocci Ring follows a "One-to-One" connection rule. To protect your data, it can only be linked to one mobile device at a time.
- If your ring was previously paired with another phone (or a tablet), it will be "invisible" to your current device.
- Solution: Turn off Bluetooth on the other device or "Unpair" the ring from that device's app settings to make it available for a new connection.
Is the Ring Within Range?
For a secure and stable pairing process, the Vocci Ring has a Bluetooth broadcast range of approximately 2 meters (6 feet).
- Solution: Ensure the ring is placed immediately next to your phone during the pairing process. If the ring is across the room, the app will not be able to detect it.
