How to Manage Auto-Upload & Auto-Transcription

Auto-Upload and Auto-Transcription

Both auto-upload and auto-transcription are enabled by default.

Once your Vocci Ring connects to the app:

1. Auto-Upload: Recordings are automatically transferred to your phone and uploaded to the cloud.
2. Auto-Transcription: Transcription begins automatically after the upload is complete.

3. Language detection: The app automatically detects the language spoken in each recording and transcribes it accordingly.

You can change these settings at any time:

• To turn off automatic uploads, disable Auto-Upload to Cloud in Settings.
• To turn off automatic transcription, disable Auto-Transcription in Settings.
• To change the transcription language, go to Settings → Target Transcription Language.

If auto-upload or auto-transcription is disabled, you can manually upload or transcribe individual recordings from the recording page.

Important Considerations

Before enabling this feature, please keep the following in mind:

Token Consumption: Auto-transcription processes every newly uploaded file. This will consume your AI minutes and tokens, even for recordings you may not have intended to convert.

Resource Management: If you prefer to be selective about which recordings are transcribed to save your AI minutes, we recommend keeping this feature OFF and starting transcriptions manually.
