How to Enable Auto-Transcription

Enable Auto Transcription

To activate this feature, you must complete two prerequisites in the Settings menu:

1. Enable Auto Upload: Turn on "Auto Upload to Cloud" on the Settings page.

2. Select Language: Ensure you have selected your Target Transcription Language.

Once these steps are finished, all subsequent recordings will be transcribed the moment your Vocci Ring connects to the app—no further action is required.

Important Considerations

Before enabling this feature, please keep the following in mind:

Token Consumption: Auto-transcription processes every newly uploaded file. This will consume your AI minutes and tokens, even for recordings you may not have intended to convert.

Resource Management: If you prefer to be selective about which recordings are transcribed to save your AI minutes, we recommend keeping this feature OFF and starting transcriptions manually.
