The Vocci ecosystem ensures your ideas are captured on your finger and delivered to your phone in seconds. Here is how your data moves from the ring to your final notes.
1. Uploading Audio to Your Phone
To transfer recordings from your ring to your mobile device:
- a. Ensure your ring is connected to the Vocci App via Bluetooth.
- b. Open the Vocci App. The upload will start automatically.
- c. Speed: Most transfers complete within seconds.
- d. Indicator: During transfer, the ring LED will be Steady White (dimming every 5s).
2. Cloud Sync
Once uploaded to your phone, files will be synced to the cloud for transcription and backup.
- Auto-Upload (Recommended): If you toggle "Enable auto-upload" to ON, your audio files will be sent to the cloud automatically as soon as they finish transferring to your phone. This streamlines the workflow for faster transcription.
- Manual Upload: If you leave this feature OFF, your files will remain local to your phone. To transcribe a recording, you will need to manually initiate the upload for that specific file each time.
3. Transcription Process
You must convert your audio into text to generate "Notes."
- Manual Start: Tap the recording to begin transcription after the upload finishes.
- Auto-Transcription: You can enable this feature in settings to start the process automatically. Click here for instructions: Enable Auto Transcription.
- Language Selection: You must select a target language during your first transcription. The app will remember this as your default, but you can change it at any time.
4. Processing Time
Transcription speed depends on the length of your recording and network conditions.
- 1-Hour Audio: Approximately 4 minutes to process.
- 15-Minute Audio: Approximately 1 minute to process.
Quick Troubleshooting
